Since the advent of neuroscience, psychiatry is undergoing a profound conceptual change. Depressive illness has been benefiting from the latest technological advances in terms of brain imaging but also AI, allowing targeted and personalized treatments. Also, the renewed interest in psychedelic substances has opened new paths of care with great hopes for innovation in pharmacotherapy. During this conference, we propose to dive into the fascinating world of neuroscience, new technologies, and psychedelics, which are revolutionizing our approach to the management of depressive illness today.

Cannibalism intrigues many, especially regarding its motives.Carole Travis Henikoff proposes reverse reasoning, suggesting it was once natural and intrinsic. She emphasizes the role of societal beliefs and life events in shaping human behavior. Henikoff's theory underscores the adaptability of organisms, including humans,to cultural conditioning. She highlights the transformative power of societal narratives, challenging conventional perceptions and reshaping norms. How can an arranged set of mythologies turn what is today perceived as the ultimate taboo into a customary and even necessary practice?
